JP cabinet refers to a compensating distribution cabinet used in low-voltage distribution systems, usually installed under transformers and having measurement, distribution, and compensation functions. It is also known as JP integrated distribution box or new intelligent distribution box for distribution station area, which is a multifunctional integrated device integrating power distribution, metering, protection, control, and reactive power compensation. The main functions of the JP cabinet are: it has protection functions such as circuit breaker, metering, lightning protection, overload, short circuit, phase failure, and leakage. Generally installed on the low-voltage side of outdoor transformers. The material of the JP cabinet shell is made of a galvanized angle steel skeleton with stainless steel plates applied on the outside, and the surface of the cabinet is free of glaring reflections. The distribution box body can be rainproof, dustproof, anti-theft, anti-leakage, lightning-proof, and anti-electromagnetic interference, with sufficient strength to ensure that it will not deform during transportation and installation.
JP cabinets are suitable for low-voltage power users in industrial and mining enterprises, institutions, universities, ports, hotels, commercial buildings, and other substations that require reactive power compensation. The outdoor box-type device is installed on the side of the outdoor pole transformer, and the indoor panel-type device is installed on the side of the substation, which is used in conjunction with the user's distribution cabinet. If the working conditions used by the user are different from the normal operating conditions, such as: the installation site is over 1000m above sea level, the ambient air temperature exceeds the limit specified in the normal operating conditions, or the high humidity where condensation is easy to occur, the user shall consult with the manufacturer and reach an agreement.
